“Muzikaal Bootwateren”... for more than 20 years the most enjoyable festival in the north of the Netherlands!
The name "bootwateren" originates from the good ending of a rescue operation. This used to be celebrated in a local pub with 2 drinks and a cigar that was provided by the rescue association as a reward.
Party orchestras and (shanty) choirs will perform on this day on a couple of stages. At night various catering businesses organize a cosy night with live music!
