Island hopping via the mainland.

Another way to travel to the islands is via the regular ferry connections from the mainland. This allows for more flexible planning, and you don’t need to worry about ferry connections between the islands.

How does it work?
First, visit one island and then take the regular ferry back to the mainland. From there, travel to the harbour of the next island by car, bike, or public transport.

An added bonus: Along the way, you can enjoy the stunning scenery of the Frisian Wadden coast.
