Boat excursion company Zeehond

Cruise company Zeehond is a real family business; Mario, the captain, his wife Adinda and daughter Alysha, have been running the company with great pleasure and enthusiasm since 2012, always sailing together. Recommended for years by Tripadvisor and Google for good reason!
During the trip, captain Mario talks about the Wadden Sea, Ameland and the seals. Combined with the route descriptions and the sea charts in the tabletops, you get a clear view of the Wadden area. At Robben Island, there is ample opportunity to admire the seals in silence from the ship. On the return trip, the wheelhouse is open to take a look at the captain.

The ship that stands out in service & quality
The Zeehond has a tastefully furnished saloon with a cosy atmosphere (heated in winter & cooled in summer) so that even in less than beautiful weather, you have a splendid view of the mud flats from every seat. It also has 2 toilets and a bar for a delicious cup of coffee and apple pie or even the unique drink "Robbenslok".
The spacious sun deck, accessible by stairs, gives you a beautiful view over the Wadden Sea and can be closed by means of a sliding roof/windows, allowing you to be outside comfortably even in poorer weather conditions.

Child-friendly
The "Zeehond" is a child-friendly and especially child-safe ship. There is also a cosy 50m2 playroom for children up to 8 years old. After the visit to Robben Island, it is opened and there is, among other things, a colouring sheet of the boat available for every child.
