The sailing Theater and Music Festival on the Wadden Sea.
In August the ships of Horizontoer will dock in the harbor of Ameland to surprise festival-goers, islanders, and visitors with free performances in the center of Nes.
The programming of this festival provides a platform for established and emerging talent, is diverse, and caters to a wide audience. Island talents will also perform. Previous editions featured artists such as Eefje de Visser, Janne Schra, Tim Akkerman, and Bente.
In addition to the music programming, Horizontoer captivates, moves, and surprises the audience with theater. Previously, leading street theater company Close-Act, dance duo Youri and Marie, and Dutch juggling champion Marco Bonisimo participated.
For kids, there is an afternoon children's program, street theater, and performances at various hospitality locations. The program runs until midnight.
