The Lycurgus Outdoor Tournament on Ameland has become well-known among volleyball players in the northern parts of the Netherlands and beyond. Each year some 2.500 volleyball players, their supporters and those looking for a fun party come to see this.
For a whole weekend the island of Ameland, around the Klein Vaarwater holiday park, Buren and Nes, will be all about the tournament.
