Join the celebration of 80 years of freedom in Nes and Buren – On 5 May, we mark 80 years of freedom on Ameland with a festive parade filled with music, creativity and a strong sense of togetherness.
Dorpsbelang Nes and Buren is organising this special day with parades in the morning and afternoon. Everyone is warmly welcome to take part or come and watch!

We’ll round off the day with a festive gathering on the field near HUBO in Nes, featuring performances by Van Geeft ’m and Timmy the Moocher. We’ll also take this opportunity to thank the runners who, for the first time, brought the Liberation Flame to Ameland.
