Family campsite De Kiekduun has various facilities: luxury chalets, hikers' cabins and spacious camping pitches. De Kiekduun is centrally located on the Strandweg, which connects the village of Buren with the North Sea beach, which is within walking distance. The campsite is open daily all year round. De Kiekduun is a dune campsite, where rabbits and pheasants roam freely between the caravans and tents. On the beautiful Wadden island of Ameland and in particular on De Kiekduun, we are very careful with the environment. Ameland has a beautiful nature with lots of woods and dunes. That is why we are very conscious of the environment. For example, our workshop is equipped with solar panels. We can also proudly say that our beach pavilion Sjoerd, in addition to his golden Greenkey, was voted the most sustainable beach pavilion in the Netherlands several times.
