Ameland is a beautiful island with so much to enjoy; its beautiful nature, many cycling routes, beautiful beach and unique attractions such as the horse lifeboat.
We believe that everyone should be able to enjoy this Wadden diamond. All people, with or without a disability. That is why we started in 2011 with the construction of our “Zilte Wind”, a residence where everyone can enjoy his or her holiday without hindrance. Whether with a small or large group, a family, an entire family, or even a residential form. Everything in a cozy, homely, nostalgic farm atmosphere. From May 2012 we have been able to greet our first guests.
De Zilte Wind is located on an old farmyard in the village Ballum on Ameland. Privately located between the trees, yet in the middle of the village.

Ein sehr schönes und sauberes Haus!
Alles war sauber, die Lage war sehr zentral, das Haus war gut eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Mooi huis; lekker ruim!
Doordat het zo ruim was kon je er goed met een rollator lopen, of eventueel met de rolstoel rijden.
Er was ruimvoldoende servies en bestek

Aanrader voor iedereen!!!
Dit is een heerlijke accommodatie!! Voor een familievakantie, een vriendenweekend, voor twee gezinnen of welk gezelschap dan ook! Een heerlijke woonkamer met open keuken, ruime slaapkamers en twee badkamers maken het een heel comfortabel huis. Daarbij is het huis geschikt voor mensen met een beperking, zodat iedereen van Ameland kan genieten! Deze prachtige doelstelling maakt het helemaal een fijne plek! De supermarkt is om de hoek en het centrum van Ballum ook. Er is een hele fijne tuin met schommels en je kunt, naast op je eigen terras ook daar heerlijk zitten. Eigenaren zijn heel gastvrij en alles is goed geregeld! Wij hebben enorm genoten.
