De Welvaart is located in this beautiful historic building, built in 1662 as a commander's residence in the center of Hollum. The property has been used for many years to make guests feel welcome.
The recently restored upper floor has 2 studios and 2 apartments. The cozy studios are the perfect base to discover Ameland. The spacious apartments are the perfect option for longer stays and feature a private kitchen. The rooms are furnished with antique, attractive furniture. All rooms have a Nespresso® machine and kettle.
The restaurant, which is also a specialty beer café, is located on the ground floor. With an extensive menu and an even more extensive specialty beer list.
Een ideale locatie om Ameland verder te verkennen. De bus van en naar de veerhaven stopt op de hoek van de straat. Loop de straat uit, de polder in, en je staat na enkele minuten op het strand. 's Avonds kun je uitstekend eten in de aangrenzende/onderliggende pub met een voortreffelijke bierkaart op de koop toe. Personeel van de accomodatie is erg vriendelijk.

Het verblijf was echt geweldig, fijne accommodatie 'de Welvaart' in Hollum, prachtig eiland, leuke restaurantjes en cafeetjes, mooie kunst, kortom..genoten..
Alles was schoon en heel, geen ontbijt dat was jammer.
